Massimiliano Bet Joined P.L. Ferrari in 1990. Preceding his employment, he studied at the Nautical institute of Genova, where he received his diploma in 1988. Following his studies, he served a year in the Navy as a Lieutenant in the Naval Academy of Leghorn. Massimiliano joined P.L. Ferrari at the age of 20 as a Claims handler occupying himself of P&I, FDD and Professional Indemnity insurance for transport professionals. Since 1992 he has also been occupying himself with claims concerning Terminals and Freight Forwarders, acquiring experience on a variety of other Claims regarding Customs, Road, Rail and Air. Over the years he has gone from a Junior claim Handler to a Deputy Manager of the Claims Department and has played an important role in the Departments success.
Over the years he has also taught classes at Genova University to students studying Maritime Economy and to Masters of Shipping Insurance concerning P&I, FDD and TT Club covers.
